When I said that your presence was all the gift I needed, the emphasis was really on the “need,” not on the all. (Also, mostly on the hilarity of the presence-presents pun, but people either didn’t get it, or more likely didn’t find it all that hilarious.)

Things I want for my birthday and will probably get:
-at least one girly shot
-somewhere between staggering and stumbling drunk
-a new computer monitor from my parents
-at least 505 50% of the people I've invited to come out

Things I want that I probably will not get:
-the Jem DVDs
-people to stop coming to my site for instructions on how to insert a tampon
-Pitchfork to stop publishing self-indulgent interviews where half the questions provided by the “journalist” no one cares about are longer than the answers provided by the very famous band whose name is in the headline
-diamonds (my birthstone)
-my schoolwork waived
-properly kissed
