"Hope you're listening to me, I'd like to show you my scars"
A: Here's how much I procrastinate: tonight, the only thing I actually planned to do was to watch Alias, and I just didn't get around to that. I was going to watch at 7, but it wasn't on at 7, so I watched King of the Hill and the Simpsons, and then one of my housemates came in and wanted to watch Party Girl (with Parker Posey) and I can't say no to Parker Posey.
B: I rediscovered to Sleep Station's ep,
Von Cosel, which is based on the
real life story of a doctor who fell in love with one of his patients, who died of tuberculosis and then preserved her with formaldehyde and secretly took her from her mausoleum to his house, where he lived with her for years. Once they caught him, he used a death mask to make a dummy that he lived with until he died. (I love real life stories that sound like they were written by Edgar Allan Poe). I listened to it nigh-on constantly for a few days at work in December. (I probably linked to it from sugarbooty, since I didn't have this blog then).
The songs are beautiful and the whole thing, art and liners, is
freely available for download at the website, so you should.
C: My plans for the week include eating oatmeal, watching The OC season finale wedding episode spectacular, drinking, possibly watching a bunch of Fawlty Towers, writing a bunch of fiction, watching an over 3 hour Russian movie about asceticism, drinking, moving, and having my dream job fall into my lap. Ha-cha-cha.
