There are two reasons I am prone to minor injury. One is that I bruise very easily. The other is that I am very clumsy.
Here are some injuries I have right now or have had in the last week:
-various table-height bruises on both upper thighs, presumably from walking into tables
-skinned knees, from falling down on the sidewalk today
-blisters, from trying to break in the cheap sneakers I bought ages ago
-scrape on wrist from fielding in pool noodle baseball with young cousins (don't ask)
-scrape on other wrist from aforementioned falling on sidewalk
-bruises on lower arm from them hitting the side of an ice cream tub
-bruise on shin, provenance unknown
-small cut on back of thumb, provenance unknown
I think there were some small bruises on my arm too, but they disappeared.
None of them is bad enough to actually be cumbersome, just bad enough that I constantly look a wreck.
My crack computer repair team started laughing on the phone when I told him about falling over in the street. I wasn't telling it like a funny story. It's not like I expect more from my crack computer repair team than myself; I would have at least pretended to be sympathetic.
